Enjoying the summer and new things in the works!

Last year was crazy, a whirlwind really! I finished up all of the Sabra bowls in February, all 1889 of them! It was the biggest order I ever worked on, but such a huge accomplishment for me. I threw over a ton of clay and fired the kiln almost 350 times to finish all of the bowls. I spent most of 2017 in the studio, so after all of that I just needed to take a break for a few weeks.

I got my studio back to normal and started working on some new things for the year. I've been gardening and kayaking as much as possible and experimenting with some new glazes. I love the new succulent pots that I'm working on. I'm calling them Grumpy Pots. They're just as ornery as the Grouchy Pots, just a little less spiky.
